Every piece starts with a real story - a haunting, a folk tale, a strange bit of local history - and ends up as something you can hold, wear or hang on the wall.

Haunted Maps began with a simple idea: the best way to know a city is through its strange stories. Each map is researched, drawn and folded by hand - part guidebook, part grimoire.
Sian co-hosts Weird Crafts Sheffield - a friendly gathering for makers of macabre and magical things. Bring a project, learn something odd, and meet the city's fellow weirdos.

I'm an illustrator based in Sheffield, making work about folklore, ghosts and the stranger side of history. I draw the Haunted Maps series, make the Tell the Bees zine, run A Haunted Bookshelf, paint murals, and co-host Weird Crafts Sheffield.
Most of what I make starts with a story I couldn't stop thinking about - and ends as something you can hold in your hands.
